The Waldorf's vintage Tiki Bar has a custom built all-analog sound cabinet and a no mp3 policy. The hotel claims this makes it the best room in the city to hear vinyl spin. Every week they ask some of their favorite audiophiles and tastemakers to share their record collections. Guests this weekend include: Tom Anselmi, Danny Fazio (Friday), Mr Pablo, Pete Miles, Pat Cambell, Brendan Heartley (Saturday) and Lousie Burns (Sunday). http://www.waldorfhotel.com |
