A couple sunsets from before it got rainy:

Tiki update:

The rain came at a good time, because I had to stay inside and sand sand away on the forever in progress drum. I finally got the whole exterior sanded and was ready to move on to the final hollowing and forming the rim.
It was raining when I hollowed it, so i had to keep it at the edge of the garage while I worked

Here it was when I started:

A few hours elapsed between those two pictures...

Next step was the rim. tapering the outside edge:

And then the inside edge:

A little touch up sanding and then, finally, stain time.

I believe everything but the tiki was done by Mr. Ben. Those poinsettias might have been someone else too...but that's just a guess.
