Description:
To state "just the facts," this tiki lounge seats about 40 indoors and another 20 on an outdoor lanai area. Just opened in November 2010 so the space is in pristine condition. Contains several different seating areas (barstools, vintage sofa, tables, booths) for your lounging and drinking pleasure. Decor includes carvings from the now-defunct Hawaiian Hut, and a custom lava waterfall by a local Kona artist. Business is located in a small mall complex along the oceanfront of Alii Dr. in downtown Kona. Music is recorded, vintage and modern exotica. Menu consists of 20+ tropicals (including several originals and bowls/drinks to share) and a dozen or so pupus to accompany the drinks; ingredients are local whenever possible.
