Local News reports show that Hop Louie and Minnie Woo took over the Trade Winds from Smith in mid 1968 and reopened it on August 6th 1968 as "Hop Louie's Trade Winds". Reports also show that he and his wife were making many changes in the restaurant including "extensive redecoration to pattern it after their quarter million dollar Latitude 20 in Torrance". |
