Is anyone here familiar with pachislo? It's a great addition to any tiki bar.

Pachislo is the term for a Japanese slot machine. They're actually what are referred to as "skill slots," since technically gambling is illegal in Japan. The machines look like typical slot machines on steroids. They have the traditional three spinning reels, but often incorporate video graphics as well. The best part is, the machines can be picked up for a song online. Whereas new the machines may have cost several thousand dollars, places like stealthhomeamusements.com offer them for a couple hundred dollars.

I have a couple of the machines, and they're really amazing. I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a tiki themed one, but nothing so far, however they constantly produce new models in Japan.

Here's a video of the bonus mode on an Indiana Jones pachislo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glRj16iQfd0
