Did you know McDonalds intentionally makes their seats hard (ever notice there's no padding?) and their lights harsh to get people out as fast as possible? But does this apply to hotels, where the person "going away" means going back to their room where there is no alcohol for sale? Nope. The guests don't have to drive, they're sitting ducks, the whole point of a hotel bar is to attract their guests, keep them there, and sell them highly profitable alcoholic beverages until they stumble back to their rooms. The Tiki Bar actually works perfectly as a hotel concept. Dark, cozy, and exotic... |
