Thanks Liz, I do what I can to preserve what is found out there. Unless something is selling for a ridiculously low price, I am trying not to buy what I already have only because I am rapidly running out of room. I would rather buy the stuff now and offer it up to my friends in trade or at a future sale event than to leave it behind for a dealer to grab and sell at a huge mark-up. The Coco Joe's tiki and the Schirman piece are duplicates; the rest are ones I didn't have yet. Dusty, The Mahi-Mahi (thanks for putting a name to it for me) is one of the hard plastic molded versions and the first one I have seen in the wild. If I can't get it in my bag, my Dad or sister will bring it out on a future trip to Cali; they are going to have to bring me the carved Moai on the next trip. Later, PTD |
