That reminds me of a Mammoth trip that I was on a few years ago. One friend brought his 6-year old son along and Grandma to watch the kid while he was skiing. Now my friend shares the European belief that it's OK to let children drink alcohol with meals, that way they don't go nuts with the stuff when they get older. We were having dinner at Angel's restaurant, when he gave his son half a bottle of Sierra Nevada to enjoy. All of the people around us started lauging when they thought the kid was just playing with an empty beer bottle. Their laughs turned to looks of horror when they realized that kid was chugging down that brew for real, right next to his doting Grandma no less. :D
