I didn't know as much about Doug's part in Hawaiian Eye, but he was also in a ton of Hawaii Five-O episodes - often as a policeman, and at least once as a con artist pretending to be a policeman. And Sterling Mossman was actually in the Hawaii Five-O pilot. The Barefoot Bar and Sterling Mossman's "Barefoot in Paradise Gang" were a staple of Waikiki nightlife.
