Just did, last night, while experimenting. (2oz fresh pineapple juice, ½oz fresh lime juice, ½oz fresh lemon juice, 1oz homemade cream-of-coconut, 1oz Bacardi select, ½oz banana liqueur, tiny splash of homemade grenadine; shaken w. cracked ice and into a DOF) It was better-than-okay, definitely not anything to cause shame or embarrassment! (That said, I am a colossal fan - and proponent - of Bacardi 8.) Oh, and my go-to Demerara rum is El Dorado 12, which I prefer to LH80, independent of availability or price.
