And I think it might be getting it. Imagine, a bus tour where tiki began. Isn't the Tiki Ti a type of Mecca? Doesn't Don the Beachcombers demonstrate that vintage tiki can thrive? Yes, the Mai Kai is a type of Taj Mahal and San Francisco does have Forbidden Island and Smuggler's Cove. But who has a neighborhood bar like the Tonga Hut? Who has experiments like Tiki No? Are who even has trans tiki joints like the Puka Bar and the Purple Orchid? Who has way points all over the city that indicate what tiki use to be, was and may once again be?
