I for one will be making a pilgramage to the place to have some drinks and bask in the former glory of what was once one of the coolest places in the U.S.. I remember back in the 70's when they held the Jerry Lewis Telethon there (when it was a BIG deal). I remember in the 80's when I went to the showroom and I thought the place had seen better days. I'm too young to remember the Rat Pack days and those fantastic lounge acts but I'm sure the ghosts still roam the halls. I also went to the Sands and the Desert Inn before they were leveled to pay my respects.
