Thank you, Sven.

Howlinowl, there's no readily apparent relationship, although the business name and locale would surely suggest one. The business address is Moon Islander, 3768 SE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, FL 34996. This is in a community shopping center, and it's listed as a retail shop for women's apparel and boy's clothing, in business since 1986.

A search of the Martin County business tax records shows the registered owner since 1997 is Scott Fredrickson of Jensen Beach. That doesn't preclude such possibilities as members of the Lueg family started the business and/or have some business or marital relationship with the current registered owner. It's just not obvious. The shopping center itself is owned by a corporation.

I thinking of driving over there sometime to check it out. Years ago I used to work for a commercial A/C and refrigeration company. I had actually done a maintance on the system at the Moon Islander (Stuart).... While there, I had talked to the owner, his wife was asian.. chinese, I believe. My wife is filipino and we had a discussion about asian wives. Might be a long shot, but maybe his wife is one of Moon's daughters.

Moon did retire and move back to Ft. Pierce, so I'm thinking there's family in the area.

Wish they didn't tear down the Moon Garden. What struck me was that it was obviously old, but in the middle of nowhere between Ft. Pierce and Vero. Of course, US 1 was the main highway back then....no turnpike or interstate. And probably figured they'd pull customers from both towns.
