He was one the earliest mug collectors and Tiki revival artists, and member of the Tiki News circle since living in Arizona in the 90s. He has withdrawn from the field a little in recent years, and concentrates on the cultivation of tropicals, which thrive up there. One of his neighbors used to be an original Mai Kai dancer.
