Cheeta, who is the last surviving cast member of the 1930's films, was interviewed just a few years ago… "Yes, I'm forever grateful to Mr. Weissmuller who first helped me obtain my Screen Actors Guild card. Those SAG benefits enabled me to retire with dignity rather than wind up in that snake pit hell hole, Tropical Wonderland".
