Didn't mean to sound like a downer. MrTikibar is right about the eateries, there's a good music scene too. I complain alot , but truth be told, I love the NW. But if you're in love w/ SoCal weather and the lifestyle that goes with it, the adjustment can be challenging. Some can't take it, some never look back. I guess it depends on what really floats your boat. We should be having a Portland Tikibar crawl coming up pretty soon. Try to make the 3hr tour south and hook up with the PDX crowd if you can. The more the merrier! Keep us posted on how it's going. Good Luck!!
