The interesting thing to me about Tiki in places like the Midwest, is that it might be Tiki-style in its purest form, i.e. Polynesian iconography COMPLETELY out of its Tropical warm weather native context (unlike So CA and Florida). Pictures of the Kahiki during the winter evoke that for me (I think the Bigbro took this picture)...

Does anyone go just to make a pilgrimage at the Walgreens ??

Its gotta be the weather which is why Cali & Florida took to it so well.
