I am sorry, but all that dictionary entry supports is confusion. The quotes and sources are so random and inconsequential to what we know as Tiki culture, it is does not say anything. Dictionaries obviously cannot nail every obscure popular culture phenomenon out there, especially something that has not been represented by sufficient literature until recently. A fact which was established by this thread:
