I think it has to do with the clay shrinking more than the glaze. Well we just have to keep trying to follow all the rules and hope for the best. HINT; TO EVERYONE WHO BOUGHT A SHRINER BOB OR SOUTH OF THE BOARDER BOB EVEN THOUGH THE HATS HAVE INSETS INTO THE MUG USING A BIT OF EARTHQUAKE PUTTY WOULD MAKE THEM SECURE AND YOU COULD SAFELY WALK AROUND WITH THEM. IF YOU HAVE THEM DISPLAYED AND SOMEONE PICKED THEM UP THIS WOULD ALSO BE A SAFEGUARD. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY ARE WITH YOU AND SAFE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Wendy
