This declaration contains a statement I had overlooked until now: "On the End of the Pier - Santa Monica, Calif." Did the Galley indeed start life on the end of Santa Monica pier, then relocate to solid land in Ocean Park? Or is that just a hyperbolic phrase? If it did relocate, what year did that take place?
