I think folks tend to forget how popular the A-frame shape was in roadside culture from the 60s on. A-frame does not automatically spell Tiki. This one is too close to the road for a Polynesian restaurant, and probably was some burger stand. It could have been a Wienerschnitzel, an I-Hop, a Mr. Swiss or a Whataburger: |
