Surfite was kute but kompared to many of Ed's other products like the wild bug-eyed Mysterion and his flying car, Rotar, this little job was mere movie fodder. Fortunately it survives today along with much of Big Daddy's awesomeness. Legend Leong had many Hawaiians, soon leaving the rails behind for funny cars. His '72 Challenger had the most beautiful candy apple blue paint job covering the entire car, with gold bamboo HAWAIIAN lettering on the sides. One of the prettiest cars ever, certainly the best looker he had.
