Hey Bongo Bungalow. These are Native Indian art 100%. These were also produced at a couple different places here in Canada and were sold at gift stores all over. There are lots of different pieces that had these faces and then were hand painted on them. Plates, bowls, mugs, shot glasses, S&P's, ash trays and lot's of other items.

I actually like the design. A long time ago I bought a mug that was the same design and scratched off all the paint and it looked pretty good (until I dropped it!). Close to looking like a Tiki but just not!
