My first job when I was 15 was washing dishes at Sambo's in Buena Park CA, across the street from Knott's Berry Farm. I'm sure the PC attitudes in the 70's and 80's caused the demise of the name, but as some of the others stated, they changed over to Coco's and Carrow's and ran quite a few more years.. As I drove by my old stompping grounds last week what should I see on that corner but ANOTHER WALGREENS!!! They really are taking over the world, one spot at a time. Trustar
