For a real Gauguin eye-candy feast, check out Gauguin: Life, Art Inspiration (Abrams: 1987).
It's one of my favorites because it not only includes two-dimensional works, but many of his three-dimensional pieces including sculptures and ceramics, and visuals pertaining to many of the things that inspired him.
