At the time, we both thought his vocal qualities shared much in common with Sinatra, deep and romantic. That was especially so when he sang Kui Lee's "I'll Remember You." It was a great evening, and, after the show, Don Ho individually engaged every attendee in greeting and thanks, and to make a bit of small talk.
