okay, so now i'm really confused. anyway, i cleaned some (w)ro(ugh)/d/t iron bar stools today & must say that very fine grade steel wool & some stuff called naval jelly (smelled more like navel jelly!) really did the trick! based on some advice from a friend, i cleaned the vinyl seats of the stools w/ pumace-based hand cleaner. this stuff worked like a charm, especially removing 50 years worth of nicotine stains from the seats! these stools look brand new! |
