I don't know enough about music to comment on the chord progression or the microtonal harmonics (OK, I made that up :D ), but I think it's a great CD - relaxing and very listenable, spanning several genres. Some of the songs are fun and whimsical, some are thought provoking. "Paradise for Two" is beautiful and "But Kilauea" is very powerful.
