I work in the field of sustainability, and bamboo is a great environmentally friendly product because of how quick it grows and how strong it is. In our bushland areas its actually considered a weed because of how quick it grows! Bamboo is also used widely in SE Asia as scaffolding. I remember seeing some amazing scaffolding in Thailand when I was a kid. |
