Here are some finds from a recent trip to Auckland:

Easter Island engraving, circa 1890.

German lithograph, from the 1890s. The title is somewhat misleading - it actually depicts Hawaiian artifacts.

I am curious to know if there were any US books about Hawaii from the same period that adopted this level of tiki design in their covers...
