Thanks Mike! We usually do get a pretty good turn-out. There is always a nice reception with food and drinks afterwards too. The orchestra is supported by some very generous benefactors, of course..and fund raising is something they don't talk about. In fact, there are no fundraising activities the orchestra members have to do, like in other extracurricular organizations. But ticket sales do help! The orchestra, in the past 40 years of it's existance, has travelled across the world to various countries to perform in cultural exchanges. Part of those travel costs are funded by the organization.

I tell you, this is like being on the TV show "fame"!

At last semester's final concert, they read of a list of all graduating seniors, and where they were going to go for college....Yale, Princeton, harvard, etc...that's the kind of super-achievers these young people are!
