The holiday vortex increases it’s velocity with a rev from holiday #2, the Repeal Day Celebration.! Yes, 78 years ago (1933), December 5, the 21st amendment was passed, and the sale of alcohol was made legal once more. But from what I understand, it wasn’t until
December 6th (why yes, that’s today!) that liquor stores and bars opened again! (Although then again I could be wrong about that..) But anyway, come on down today, Tuesday December 6th, to PKNY, and raise a mug of your favorite Tiki drink to the anniversary of all things alcoholic being liberated once more, and clearing the way for the opening of Don’s Beachcomber Café by former bootlegger, Ernest Gantt!
