Many of my pieces look like one inch but they are triangular in shape and are 2 inches when close to the hole (sculpt). You can kind of see that on the top piece on the right. Look how thick the bottom piece is on the left. If we made them all that thick we would need a jack to lift them. We were going to dry them like this in the house and then I thought maybe they would mold with the warmth so back out and apart with the fan. Cheers, Wendy
