I'm also a big fan of "classic" style exotica i.e. Martin Denny, Arthur Lyman, Robert Drasnin etc. The only modern band I've heard that even comes close is Don Tiki but they don't go quite far enough. I really like the sound of vibes, piano some congas and bass together like that. Definitely has a feel that's hard to come by these days. :drink: |
