It will shrink some when it is fired. Right now with the flame they are around 14 inches tall and weigh around 4 pounds. Some is water weight that will change as the water evaporates. I have stilts that are perfect for the first layer but when I put in the shelves the mugs were too close to the kiln lid to make it work. I'll have plenty of Bob's to go on the top layer so I'll still have a full load when I fire. My breaks over now it is back to work. Thanks for stopping by, Wendy
