I've been sidetracked for the past month building a micro house in our backyard, and that is why there has been little to no studio activity. I really appreciate the photos - just the effect I am looking for! That cedar is really nice. WillCarve - yep, the gun is affordable - but I don't think Ms. VanTiki would be too thrilled if I fired that thing up in the home studio! :) until I get a booth or other safe locale for blasting, I'll have to stick with the torch and brush technique.
