To the cashier at Freaky Boutiki,

Back in December I had the great joy and fortune of re-connecting with a dear friend who I hadn't talked to in years and in the course of catching up I brought up my interest in Tiki and informed her that she at the time was in the "hot bed state" of Poly Pop.
Out of the kindness of her awesome heart she found your store and purchased for me a mug that as it turns out was part of the collection of the much beloved Tiki Kate.
Sadly I did not get to know her as her RIP thread was one of the first ones I read in it's entirety after joining TC, so when I read the post card my friend included in the package saying it was part of her collection, I was very honored and humbled to be it's new caretaker.

I'm new to here and still learning all the time, but I just wanted to drop a little line and make sure you knew, whomever you are, that the significance is not lost one me and the mug has indeed stayed in "the family" so to speak, even if it is the weird 5th cousin who lives out in the sticks.
