Wow first we had one of the best weekends of our lives and then we come home to all these fun posts and photos that just made it even better. I just can't stop smiling. A big thank you to:

Big Kahuna that was fun.
hang10tiki it was so good to see you and Janelle.
Atomic Tiki Punk where were you at Don's? You didn't kick me in the head like I asked so I missed you. Or did you kick me so hard that I've just forgotten that we had a visit?
zerostreet I love the first set of photos but the one with you is super, thank you.
MadDogMike I'm waiting for your next project to show up on your thread.
Professor G that would be a short thread. Thank you for the coffee.
WestADad I was just looking at your Bob mug and glazing your torch!
Loki tiki so good to see you both and to take your money!
The Blue Kahuna I hope we see you this week.

Remember school when you had to tell how you spent your summer. Well we packed a whole summer into this weekend. Here is my show and tell.

We started off in Pasadena Friday night visiting our friends Jama and Joanne.
Saturday we all went to the Tonga Hut for the parking lot sale.

There we saw bigbrotiki Sven.

I met Joe Banks for the first time.

That night Marty Lush and the Latin Livers were playing the hut. He's another friend.

Dan was so happy to add to his Eric October collection.

Bamboo Ben was setting up his booth.

We had a good look at Tiki Al's super ride.

I made a new friend, TikiRootsRocka. Imagine that!

Loki Tiki and Lori picked up Tiki Ba to take home to the real Tiki Ba.

We left the Tonga Hut and drove to Glendale to visit Damon's Steak House. Totally decorated just how we like it.

Then on to Chris-SoccerTiki and Karen-WooHooWahinie beautiful Polynesian home. We had so much fun looking at their collections and decorations. Oh yes and a table display that included some of my art!

Also there were Roger-HBTiki and his wife Margee. More super special people to make this party complete. They brought us a gift of a framed (he made it) and photoshopped picture of me selling at the first Don the Beachcomer sale. It is already hanging in the Buzzy bedroom. Thank you so much for this ausome gift.

There is WooHoo getting a hug.

Soccer and WooHoo had fixed a wonderful lunch. They sent us on with so much food I'm still enjoying it here at home.

Here is Soccer with Dan.

Sunday we were off the to Don the Beachcomer Sale in Huntington Beach. SoccerTiki runs this event with help from his wife WooHooWahinie, HB Tiki and his wife Margee. They sell you and entrance ticket that you trade for food. The hamburger at Don's is the best I've ever had.

Dan snagging some Jonny Velour mugs.

Dan and I having that hamburger lunch.

Tiki Tony and his wife with the mask I just bought for Dan.

Hang10Tiki picking up his Wendy Cevola hand made ceramics in the parking lot. SoccerTiki caught us but didn't press charges!

Crazy Al being cute.

When we left the sale we went to the Pacific Island Ethnic Museum. They show a touching movie about Hawaii that shouldn't be missed. It's good to support them. This is in Long Beach.

This tiki by Polynesiac was just everything we have ever wanted in a high end tiki. We couldn't help but bring it home. http://www.polynesiac.com

To top it off he gave us this wonderful necklace. Thank you so much.

Doug Horne and Smokin Tiki's were there and we found these for the Buzzy Bedroom.

Dan got these from Eric October.

The mask is from Tiki Tony.

There were even more gifts from HB Tiki. A menu insert from the Mai Kai

and a tiki that he made. Thank you three times for all the terrific gifts.

The Jonny Velour mugs.

Two Gecko mugs that HB Tiki had for sale at his booth.

A beautiful Bosco mug.

Moai salt and pepper shakers by Grog.

This is the only vintage item we brought home from our trip. We have already forgotten where it came from. bigbrotiki you were there, help!

Where else can you vacation with all your friends but at these terrific tiki events. Comming soon Caliente and Tiki Oaisis 12. The next sale at Don the Beachcomers is the first Sunday in June.

Thank you everyone for the hugs and fun times. Dan says don't forget to say thanks for all the tiki treasure too. Cheers, Wendy
