great stuff, as always DC, thanks :) i have found a treasure trove of DC area polynesian restaurant ads and blurbs in an online repository of "Washington Dossier," a "society" mag that ran in DC during the 70s thru 90s - http://www.scribd.com/david_adler_8 - i guess trader vic's and their ilk had the 1% as their target audience :) - anyways, enjoy:
