I'm not much of a rumologist, but I like to educate myself when I get the chance. Amy's Mojave Oasis care package included a cute little 50ml bottle of Appleton Estate V/X which seems to get major airplay here on TC. What is the best way to sample and critique it? Straight from the bottle? Warm? Cold? Over ice? Diluted with water? (how much?) In a specific cocktail? In my favorite cocktail? My geographic area is more of a tequilla territory, it's hard to find anything here to compare it with other than Bacardi and Captain Morgan. But I do have a bottle of "Cruzan Aged" (2 yo) How can I expect the Appleton to compare to the Cruzan? Thanks |
