Base is approx 3 " thick.This is an absolute great find , and whoever buys it will be glad they did.This fine example would make a fine addition to your Mid Century Modern , tiki or vintage rattan ,or Hawaiiana room.I can not believe just how good of condition this lamp is in for it's 50 plus years old .Obviously from a smoke and dust free home that's for sure .More pics available upon request .Because of the size of lamp , the base and shade will have to be shipped in two separate boxes to ensure it's safety...thus a little more $$ to ship ! $495 reduced to $ 425.
