I remember eating baloney sandwiches on TV trays watching those shows, my mother warning me not to spill my milk in the den. The Amazing 3 actually ran on local TV (as did other translated Japanese cartoons in the 1960's like Gigantor, Marine Boy, 8th Man, and Prince Planet). I know because we didn't have a channel 28 on our TV until the 1970's. Thanks for posting that opening clip Rum Dog, the exact plots of the shows escape my memory, but I DO remember that song. :) Maybe other people's cool parents were actually taking them to see "Thunderball" and "You Only Live Twice" at the movies. I had to get by with cartoons.
