Thanks Polynesiac, agree with you that it's often better to gravitate
toward the things that aren't so labor intensive.
A week or so of repeated sanding and refining and I don't really have much
to show for it...but things are coming around





I have no historical basis for this but i like to think of the headdress
as being part of the tiki, sort of like antlers, instead of something worn
like a hat. That could be my niche, a cross between tikis and whitetail deer:-)
