Wooden tiki mugs don't get much respect around here, but I've a good use for them.

I've a little tiki bar I re-assemble each spring on the deck of my lake cottage. I hang the wooden mugs and leave them out all summer. Ceramic mugs have to stay inside where they are safe. When taking a wooden mug down, you do have to check for spiders.

And then I started a Tiki Mug Club with the little kids in the family when they come over. They use the wooden mugs as they sip ice water with lime wedges and we make toasts about things we like.
