Interesting post on the repair job. Every once in a while, I forget to dump the extra slip out in a timely manner and wind up with a extra thick mug. Never thought about cutting one open. As for the exploding figures, I found that drilling small holes into the thickest parts of a solid sculpt prevented explosions. I've never tried to sand a cast mug, however. Usually, I just hit them with water and smooth things out with hands tools and my hands. |
