I lived in New York for my 1st 20 years & experienced 2 earthquakes, neither one much stronger than a large truck rumbling past. I lived in LA for 10 years & experienced probably more than a dozen earthquakes & aftershocks stronger than those. I have slept through hurricanes & even a tornado (the tornado woke me up but I fell right back to sleep), but I've never slept through any but the mildest earthquakes. |
