Hello Tiki Central!
Some news from over the pond...:roll:

Our last exhibit in the french west coast it now finished. Here the pics of the pieces what I've finished just in time:

First, the Tekoteko:

Finally done!


Carved from prunus, paua shell and grenadill for the eye, bone heru

Then, a larger Hawaïan style tiki


Carved from willow

The second of squared moai:

Carved from plane and beech.
This guy have already a new home in Connecticut!

For the opening of the exhibit, there were two evening concerts in a bar, I made a part of the decorating with some styrofoam Tiki masks:

Back from La Rochelle, I had fun customizing this shift knob was given by my friend Nikko:

V shapped gouge for engraving...

...for Kowhaiwhai inspired pattern

Eye made from corian, paua and ebony

Now, cleaning and store the workshop for a larger project:
