Since this seems to have become the preeminent threat about Van Hoople paintings anywhere online I would like to add mine. I picked it up this weekend. Someone unfortunately tried to paint the frame gold and got smudges on the matting but the picture is untouched. There is also a big 'B5-27' painted on the back of the board in black paint.
