Not a tiki event but definitely a fun event for those of us that live in the area. It's sept 22nd at the volunteer fire station in sunset beach. It cost like 5 bucks, has live music, beer, and of course chili. We're meeting mongoloid there and it should be fun. Go with low expectations and expect a tank top crowd and you'll have fun. Hell, if you hate it, dons is across the street. Bike riding distance for us, but if live near Warner, edinger or pch there's busses that will drop you off pretty close to the event. I suggest showing up at about noon as most of the crowd is passed out on the green belt by 2:00.
