I would hope that a beach front hotel is built, as it is near one of the nicest and best preserved moais mounted on the ahu. (I would also hope that proper preservation precautions are also enacted.)

I also think that the increase in tour services would provide good jobs to those who want to work on Easter Island and are proud of its histroy. Even the hotel jobs would be better than none, particularly if they provide hard currency tips, as the cost of food is inflated because of the transport costs.
